Mainstreet + Toast

Your Toast guests are your best reviewers. Ask them, reply to them, rank higher.

Toast already knows every guest who ordered takeout or delivery from you — their name, their email, their phone. Mainstreet imports that list (with your permission, once, per Toast's standard API), sends a personalized Google review invite, and then auto-replies to every review that comes in — in your voice, within the hour. Plus weekly Google Posts and map-pack rank tracking on a 25-point grid. $99/mo Founding.

What you get

One-click import from Toast

In Toast Web → Integrations → Add API Integration, create a Mainstreet integration with scopes 'orders:read' and 'guest.pi:read'. Paste your Client ID, Client Secret, and Restaurant GUID into Mainstreet. We import the last 90 days of takeout + delivery guests, deduped by email/phone. No partnership contract, no Toast sales call.

Personalized review invites, not blast SMS

Each guest gets an invite that references your restaurant by name — with a one-tap Google review link. We track who leaves a review so you know which guests to thank personally. Attribution is built in.

Auto-reply to every Google review in your voice

Every new review gets an AI-drafted reply tuned to your restaurant's tone — warm, specific, on-brand. Positive reviews auto-publish. Negative reviews (2 stars or fewer) always wait for your one-tap approval, so you can respond before it becomes a Yelp thread.

Weekly Google Post, published for you

Google Posts are the fastest way to signal an active restaurant profile — places that post weekly outperform dormant ones in the map pack. Mainstreet writes and ships one Post a week: seasonal menu highlight, chef feature, catering announcement. You can edit or reject any draft.

25-point map-pack rank grid

See exactly where you rank for 'restaurants near me', 'best [cuisine] [neighborhood]', and your top-money keywords — at every corner of your delivery radius, not just at your address. Daily, not monthly.

Zero risk to your Toast setup

Mainstreet reads guest contacts once when you import, and never writes to Toast. No changes to your menu, orders, payments, or reporting. Revoke access from Toast Web any time — everything you imported stays with you.

Common questions

Does Mainstreet need a Toast partnership contract?

No. This uses Toast's standard per-restaurant API — you create the integration credentials yourself in Toast Web → Integrations and share them with us. That's the path Toast built for exactly this use case. We're not on their Partner Marketplace; we don't need to be.

What data does Mainstreet pull from Toast?

Only guest contacts (name + email + phone) from takeout and delivery orders in the last 90 days. We don't pull menu items, prices, order totals, tips, payment details, or dine-in data (which doesn't include guest PII anyway).

Will my guests get spammed?

Each guest receives ONE review invite, ever. If they already left a Google review, we skip them. If they opted out of marketing in Toast, we respect that flag. Your operator dashboard shows exactly who was contacted and when — nothing runs behind your back.

How is this different from Toast Marketing?

Toast Marketing runs email campaigns — coupons, birthday offers, loyalty. Mainstreet does the one thing Toast doesn't: turn guest data into Google reviews and rank higher on Google Maps. Different jobs; totally compatible to run both.

What if I use another POS too (Square, Clover)?

Connect all of them — Mainstreet dedupes by email/phone across sources. If a guest ordered takeout from you on Toast last week and paid with a card on Square today, they only get one invite.

Do you touch dine-in guests?

No — dine-in orders on Toast don't capture guest PII (which is by design; walk-ins don't hand over their email). We only see takeout and delivery guests. If you want to invite dine-in diners, add a QR code on the check that points at your Google review link — we can generate one for you.

How much of the $200/mo Google API credit am I using?

Zero. This flow is Toast → Mainstreet → Gmail/SMS → your guests → Google. Google's Places API only gets hit when we detect new reviews (a few pennies a month per restaurant).
